What’s said to be the world’s largest collection of model aircraft has gone on permanent show at Shannon Airport in Ireland.  The 1,500-plus diecast models have been collected by Limerick man Michael Kelly, and are now displayed in a designated gallery area airside, just off the departures lounge.  The aircraft were collected by Michael over six decades and feature machines from all aspects of aviation, from the pioneering days to modern jets.
