Golden Knights Exchange Fokkers for C-147As

 

Bombardier C-147A s/n 15-01609 is the first of two Dash 8-300-series aircraft that will be operated in support of the US Army’s Golden Knights parachute team, replacing two Fokker C-31A Troopships used by the team since 1985. Fokker C-31A 85-01607 retired to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan AFB on September 24, having been used for than 500,000 jumps.
