Airbus will fly an airBaltic A220-300 to five cities in four countries. The tour began on November 5 as the A220 is present at the 2018 China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai.
Airbus will then take the aircraft to Chengdu on November 9 and Koh Samui, Thailand a day later. It will then continue to Kathmandu, Nepal on November 11 before concluding the tour in Istanbul, Turkey on November 12-13.
The European manufacturer believes that the tour is a great opportunity to showcase the smallest member of its aircraft family to airlines and media, enabling it to show off aspects of the A220 which would benefit operators and passengers alike.
