Nine E175s for SkyWest Airlines

Embraer and SkyWest have signed a firm order for nine E175 jets, with deliveries expected to begin in 2019. The carrier will operate all nine aircraft in a 76-seat configuration. The acquisition brings the airline’s E175 order book to 158 examples.

Chip Childs, SkyWest’s chief executive and president, said: “We’re pleased to continue adding new E175 aircraft under long-term contract to our increasingly efficient, agile and flexible fleet.”
