Egyptair has received its second Airbus A220-300 aircraft on October 1 as part of a deal of 12 aircraft of the same type that will be delivered between now and June 2020.
Speaking at the handover in Cairo, Capt Ahmed Adel, Chairman and CEO of the Egyptair Holding Company said that this aircraft will be operated on regional and domestic routes in the coming period, along with other models that have recently joined the company’s fleet.
Chairman and CEO of Egyptair Airlines, Capt Ashraf Al-Kholy, said that the A220-300 aircraft is equipped with 140 seats and provides a high level of comfort and a very relaxed seat pitch. In addition, the aircraft is provided with Wi-Fi Internet and video/audio streaming service for the passengers to stay entertained through their mobile phones, laptops or tablets.
